I understand that engineers do not study history.
What we call Marxism is actually known and advocated under many titles.  Collectively often referred to as Left Wing or Liberal.
Just grasp that America, that USA, was founded on concepts completely opposite to Marxism, socialism, progressivism, et. al.
I am not a Libertarian, but there is a Libertarian organization in Washington, D.C. Does offer a good article about the Constitution and what human freedom is about:

At Universities today, you are saturated with group think. Your comment that Muslims could walk to a place of worship belies the fact that they got the press and are pushing against your comment.
Individual freedom is a minority concept today in Universities...
And that group think says that you should provide Muslims with prayer room facing Mecca.  Recently I was in New York and witnessed Muslims obstructing things because they plopped down on sidewalk to face Mecca and pray.  Do they have right to obstruct the rest of us to pray?

“First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.”
