Hi, Brad,

Thanks for the update on Bush's response to Richard Reid - and I concur completely on your additional assessments.  We have much too many pseudo-intellects whose only credentials are that the attended "prestigious" universities either compliments daddy's pocketbook or affirmative action/political correctness.

The bottom line is still that, to the detriment of the nation, journalism has lost its major function - to be the investigative eyes and ears of the society - and has long maintained a lapdog posture, fawning obsequiously and drooling over the latest "celebrity."
