Maybe we can get back to business.  After 10K miles, you can rub your
finger inside the exhaust pipe of my VW diesel and barely get it
dirty. We can scrub coal (provided we're willing to spend the money)
such that very little comes out the stack. Oil & gas drilling uses 1/4
of the old footprint of just a few years ago and is safe.  China and
India can clean-up their act, and perhaps they will once we abandon a
profit-scheme designed to stifle their economies (they had no plan to
adopt cap-n-trade anyway).  Let's get to work!
