Brad said, "That's been done before as well - his name was Adolf and he was quite good at yelling "fire" in crowded theaters."

Now you are starting to sound like me. Recall when I pointed out that NAZI was really an acronym for National Socialism?

I tried to post a political cartoon but it said that the file was too big.

Paul G posted all those quotes by Jefferson. How about the qoute making the rounds the last few weeks by John Adams: "We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution is designed only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for any other."

It is relevant to understand that socialism seeks to displace other political systems developed in the west based traditional religions and ethics derived from those religions. We now see the arrogance of power and its disassociation from reality. This affliction is evident in Obama and main stream media. I suspect that violence is in our future.
