[Swiftwater Gazette] Generator on Board

Several years ago Wally and ... Brad? started talking about putting 
small gas-powered generators on board -- an idea I pooh-poohed at the time.

Last summer I tried my little Honda on board, and while it didn't work 
out in terms of what I intended (a hybrid boat) I did find I really 
liked having shore power wherever I went.

Does anyone else have a stand-alone generator on board?  If so, where do 
you keep it?  How do you use it?
